Office of Multicultural Success and Retention (OMSAR)
The Office of Multicultural Success and Retention (OMSAR) assists in providing access to a quality academic and enriching social experience at Ohio University for diverse students, while leading the institution's efforts to successfully retain and graduate them.
LINKS is a peer-mentoring program for first-year multicultural students. LINKS helps first-year students navigate the college experience by making students aware of the available university resources, services, and offices.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center works to create a community environment (on and off campus) that is truly safe and celebratory of people of all genders, orientations, and expressions of identity. As an academic support unit, the center strives to enhance students' learning and engagement as well as increase the retention of LGBT students.
Ohio University’s LGBT Center was the first in the state of Ohio, and OHIO is one of only 55 universities nationwide to offer gender-neutral housing.

Women’s Center
The Women’s Center promotes awareness, education, and advocacy about women, gender, and diversity among faculty, staff, and students at Ohio University and its surrounding communities. Among other programs, the center provides leadership and professional development opportunities, recognizes women who are making a difference, and helps pair students with female mentors.
