This summer, the Ohio Library Council and the Ohio Public Library Information Network announced all Ohioans will gain free access to the online courses from Lynda.com with a valid Ohio library card. The agreement is reportedly the first-of-its-kind in the nation between LinkedIn and a statewide system of public libraries.

Lynda.com, which is part of LinkedIn Learning, includes more than 12,000 tutorials, ranging from computer programming to project management, and includes a wide variety of popular computer software, programming languages, and business topics. The video courses are taught by industry experts and are designed for all skill levels.

Typically, using Lynda.com requires a paid subscription, but now anyone with an Ohio public library card can access all of Lynda.com's content from any computer with an internet connection.

If you have an Athens County Public Library card, use your library card number and PIN log in to Lynda.com through ACPL's portal.  If you live in Athens County, but don’t have a public library card, learn about how to get your free card.

Don't live in Athens County?  Check with your local public library for access to Lynda.com and more.
