Hawthorne was one of six May 2020 alumnae who performed at the concert that was live-streamed from the Shirley Wimmer Dance Theater. Aptly named “A COVID Experiment,” the event brought students and graduates together to explore the collaborative and performance capabilities of expressing art through movement virtually while providing a venue for alumni to deliver their first performances and have their first guest artist experiences as professionals.
