CTLA now offering assessment consultations
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (CTLA) invites faculty and staff to contact Associate Director for Assessment Wendy Adams for assessment support this fall semester.
Consultations can be individual, team, department or unit level. Several departments have already taken advantage of this expanded support by the center. In addition to scheduled consultations, Adams will host weekly drop-in office hours on Mondays, beginning Aug. 28, from noon to 2 p.m. via Teams or in person in McGuffey Hall Room 104.
"Partnering with programs, departments, and centers to build a culture of assessment that supports the work of our programs and strengthens student learning is something I am passionate about," Adams said. "I look forward to supporting your work and assisting in making the assessment process run smoothly for your programs."
Other CTLA assessment-related activities include a BRICKS (general education) orientation, as well as feedback sessions for those who have participated in BRICKS assessment in previous semesters.
The CTLA is also making it possible for six faculty to attend an Assessment Institute in Indianapolis in October, and a panel discussion will be held in November for those participants to share what they learned at the conference with the university community. Details on these events will be available on the CTLA website.
