CLDC hosting its first-ever conference for OHIO’s regional campus students

Ohio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center (CLDC) is excited to present the first Regional Campus Conference exclusively for regional campus students.

The Regional Campus Conference is a one-day conference experience for Ohio University regional campus students in which students will earn the full Professional Leadership Certificate. The purpose of this event is to bring students from all five regional campuses together to share in a day of professional development.

The CLDC’s inaugural Regional Campus Conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the Living Learning Center on OHIO’s Athens Campus. During the event, students will participate in all three of the CLDC’s Professional Leadership Certificates workshops as well as a group mock interview and a group career coaching appointment and will be treated to a regional campus alumni panel. In addition, all students will receive a free professional headshot.

“We are so excited to provide regional campus students a chance to earn the entire Professional Leadership Certificate in one day,” said Kendra Lutes, a graduate assistant at the CLDC. “This is a great opportunity for all campuses to come together and share in a day of professional development and networking.”

This event is free and open to all of OHIO’s regional campus students, but seating is limited. Online registration is available here. Only the first 60 students registered will be admitted to the event; those registering after the 60-person cap has been reached will be placed on a waiting list.

Lunch at OHIO’s Nelson Court will be available at a cost of $12.
