iCUE Spotlight: May 17-23, 2018

We've entered summer semester and first summer session! There may be a smaller group of students and some faculty may be taking a break, but we're still here to keep you informed about what's going on around campus. And remember to add your events to the CUE, Ohio University's official online Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization, so get those events added, please! Here are some highlights:

Bike to Work Day
7:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, May 18 | Baker University Center first floor and other locations around Athens

Everyone is invited to join OHIO, the Athens City/County Health Department and HAPCAP Transit in celebrating Natoinal Bike to Work Day. Four pit stops will be located throughout the city that will offer riders free coffee, water and snacks, as well as chances to sign up for free raffle prizes. Representatives from local bike shops will be at each pit stop to answer any bike-related questions.

On the Green Weekend
Wednesday, May 16 through Saturday, May 19 | Various locations around Athens

On the Green Weekend, presented by the Alumni Association, is the annual Spring Homecoming, welcoming alumni back to Athens for a long weekend of events for all ages! Events begin Wednesday with a Sherman House Historical Tour and continue with films, Alumni College, tours, receptions, a Super Hero Dash, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, food truck festival, theater performances, observatory tours and much more! Some events, like the Cruise-in at the Convo Satruday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., are open to the public, so find individual events on the CUE or check the full schedule and be sure to smile as you welcome our alumni home again.
