2018-19 commuter parking permits available for online order beginning July 9
Ohio University Transportation and Parking Services (TPS) will open online commuter permit sales for the 2018-19 academic year beginning July 9, 2018. All students enrolled in Fall Semester 2018 classes will be eligible to make their online purchase.
This marks the first year that commuter permit sales will be available online; students in need of in-person assistance may also visit the TPS kiosk stations located at 100 Factory St. between Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The new online system provides OHIO students with the ability to:
- Quickly purchase a commuter pass online (instead of in line).
- Print a temporary permit to display until their official annual permit arrives via mail (typically within seven business days).
Commuter Permit Tips:
- While in-person commuter pass sales remain available, students are encouraged to save time and order online.
- Students must be officially enrolled in Fall Semester 2018 classes in order to purchase a permit. Students who are not enrolled will not be eligible to purchase a parking permit.
- Remember to remove any expired permits from your windshield before displaying your temporary permit on your dashboard.
- Before purchasing your permit, please take a picture of the license plate of the vehicle(s) in which you plan to display your permit. You will be required to enter your license plate information when purchasing your permit.
