Global Engagement Award nominations now being accepted

The International Education Week Committee at Ohio University is now accepting nominations for the annual Awards for Excellence in Global Engagement, which this year include a new award for community engagement.

The awards recognize current and former faculty and staff, as well as alumni and community members or organizations for their outstanding contributions to international education, global competency, cultural understanding and/or international programs at Ohio University or in their fields or disciplines. The awards are administered by International Education Week Committee and the Office of Global Affairs. 

The Award for Excellence in Community Engagement will be presented for the first time during the 2018 Global Engagement Awards Ceremony. This new award seeks to identify and recognize individuals and organizations who demonstrate a commitment toward building bridges that advance international engagement, cultural immersion and partnerships among international students at Ohio University.
