Theater Division presents “The Wolves,” by Sarah Delappe

The Ohio University Theater Division in the School of Dance, Film and Theater is proud to present the first production of the 2018–19 season, “The Wolves,” by Sarah DeLappe, directed by David Haugen and presented in the Forum Theater, Oct. 4 through 6 and 9 through 13.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama and an extraordinary debut play, “The Wolves” is a portrait of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who want to score on the soccer field. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, a girl’s indoor soccer team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors.

Haugen, an associate professor in the Theater Division, directs the student cast including Alayna McCabe, Chloe Grogean, Daisy Bentley, Gillian Abrams, Haley Reese Calhoun, Hannah McCauley, Katie Kirk, Lauren Gelnn, Makaila McColley and Courtney Abbott.

Performances: Oct. 4-6 and 9-13, at 8 p.m. in The Forum Theater in the RTV Building, with talkbacks following the performances on Oct. 6 and 10.
