The January 2019 recipient is Tammy Andrews, an administrative specialist in the Division of Student Affairs who was nominated by Adam Grimm and Chad Barnhardt.
This is a sampling of the comments made by her nominators:
Adam Grimm: Tammy shows excellence in her daily job by giving great attention to detail, having excellent customer service skills and showing care and concern when helping students in need. She is easy to get along with and I am proud to call her a DOSA co-worker and friend. Students and staff adore her and the Office of the Dean of Students is lucky to have her as part of their team.
Chad Barnhardt: I can’t say enough good things about Tammy. She is kind, generous, and thoughtful. She goes above and beyond to help our students, student employees, parents and colleagues. She is committed to her work and does a fantastic job of balancing the needs of our staff. She essentially has four bosses asking her to do different things and still manages all of the challenges of our office and our work. She is compassionate and helpful to everyone. We are a better staff because Tammy is in the Dean of Students Office.
