PERFORMANCE: American Rituals for the Subversive Body by Kezia Waters
Saturday, June 15, 7-8 p.m. Trisolini Gallery, Baker University Center 405, Athens OH 45701
This performance piece provides a window into both millennials and post-millennial’s engagement with patriotism. The speed and layout seeks to imitate social media in an almost paradoxical style. The material, presented in a circular episodic form, should not be confused with a play, although one may be tempted in many ways, but rather an exploration of language and repetition creating cadence and therefore ritual.
Monday, June 17, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Human Resource and Training Center, 169 West Union Street, Athens OH 45701
Orientation sessions are held in the Human Resource and Training Center. Visit onboarding for employees for further details.
Tuesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 20, noon-12:35 p.m. Bird Arena, 23 Oxbow Trail, Athens OH 45701
