OHIO Athletics offering free tickets to faculty and staff for Miami game Nov. 6

The following message was shared by Ohio University Athletics.

Bobcats, we have an opportunity in front of us. Our football team is playing on national television on the 150th anniversary of the first-ever college football game in 1869. Our home game on Wednesday, Nov. 6, will be the focus of the NCAA’s College Football 150th Anniversary celebration (www.cfb150.org) that night on ESPN2.

Faculty and staff are eligible to receive up to four (4) FREE tickets to the game. Tickets can be picked up at the Convocation Center Ticket Office from Wednesday, Oct. 30 through Tuesday, Nov. 5, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will also be available for pick up at the Peden Stadium Ticket Office (located at Gate 2 under the Sook Academic Center) beginning at 5 p.m. prior to kickoff. Faculty/staff must present an Ohio University ID in order to pick up tickets. Admission is free for students, faculty and staff.

Let’s make it a night to remember with an overflow student, faculty and staff crowd that will capture the attention of the nation. Not a football fan? Not a problem. This is about more than football. This is about showing the nation, through the lens of ESPN2, the pride we all have in Ohio University.

Go Bobcats!
