Patton College faculty member Julie Francis gives EdTalk on Adult Workforce Development Education's Positive Impact in our Region

Dr. Julie Barnhart Francis is the Director of the Stevens Literacy Center in The Patton College of Education at Ohio University. She returned to OHIO from Rhode Island in 2017 after working for over a decade in higher education and professional development in the areas of reading interventions and sensitive observation of children’s early literacy achievement. As director of the Stevens Literacy Center, she is leading regional work on adult workforce readiness education and two generation family literacy which strengthens the center’s mission of promoting, developing, and researching literacy across the lifespan.
