Who’s Who in the Russ College: Grace Sallar

Get to know the administrative staff of the Russ College of Engineering and Technology! New colleagues will be featured weekly.

Grace Sallar knows her way around the Russ College. Not only is she a staff and faculty member, she has spent the last 10 years at Ohio University, earning her bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and now working toward her PhD in civil engineering.

Who is Grace Sallar? Assistant Dean for Student Services

Where can I find her? Stocker Center 121. Look for the green “Student Services” wall signage to the left of the Stocker Center lobby.

In her role, Grace…

• Advises undecided engineering students
• Evaluates all transfer credit and transient course approvals
• Allocates Russ Vision funds to various students and student organizations
• Helps undergraduate students with general academic concerns
• Teaches various fundamental engineering courses
   

What she loves about her job…
“Getting to know and help various students in the Russ College.” 

What she enjoys in her spare time…
“I am an ‘inside person.’ I love to read, listen to music, and take naps.”
