Fiscal year 2021 furlough FAQ available
This notice serves as a reminder that Ohio University’s fiscal year 2021 furlough began on Wednesday, July 1. The University has developed a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) to help employees understand how the furlough applies to them.
The furlough will start with the pay period containing July 1, 2020 and will continue through June 30, 2021.
It applies to all administrative, faculty, and classified non bargaining employees as follows:

$200,000 and above | 18 days | 6.9% |
In an effort to minimize the impact of the wage reduction and furlough leave, the employees’ gross wage reduction will be spread over the course of the entire fiscal year and applied each pay period.
The furlough will include seven mandatory days that will extend the University’s closure periods for Thanksgiving and winter break. The dates are:
