Ohio University provides update on True House

Plumbing issue in isolation hall was quickly resolved

On Thursday, Oct. 8, University Facilities Management and Safety was made aware of a plumbing issue at True House on the South Green, which is currently serving as an isolation hall for COVID-19 positive students. 

Staff quickly responded to identify and resolve the issue and determined that, because the building was sitting for so long unused, coupled with the City of Athens flushing nearby fire hydrants, the water was very turbid. Staff opened the fire hydrant outside of the building and ran the water until it was clear.
