Athens campus power outage planned for May 15

Ohio University’s Facilities Management and Safety has scheduled a partial-campus power outage on the Athens campus for Saturday, May 15, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The outage will provide an opportunity to replace damaged electric cable in OHIO’s distribution system. The 12-hour outage has been scheduled during non-business hours to minimize impact to the OHIO community.

The following buildings will be impacted: Aquatic Center, Academic Research Center, Bingham House, Bird Arena, Boyd Hall, Carin Strength Training Center, Central Food Facilities, Convocation Center, Facilities Shops, Golf/Tennis Clubhouse, Grosvenor Hall, Grover Center, Medical Education Center (previously known as Human Resources Training Center), Irvine Hall, James Hall, Parks Hall, Peden Grounds Shop, Peden Stadium, Ping Center, Porter Hall, Pruitt Field, Ryors Hall, Sargent Hall, Stocker Center, Surface Sciences Laboratory, Treudley Hall, University Service Center, Walter Fieldhouse, Walter Hall, Wilson Hall (West Green) and Wren Stadium.
