OHIO's '100 Day Challenge' returns
Faculty and staff wellbeing benefit to officially begin July 1, 2021
Beginning in July, Ohio University Human Resources will once again partner with WellWorks to offer OHIO faculty and staff wellbeing benefits and health-related opportunities through the 100 Day Challenge.
What is the 100 Day Challenge?
- The Challenge is available to all benefits-eligible employees and spouses/partners with an active WellWorks membership.
- The goal is to make 100 visits to WellWorks and/or participate in Group Exercise Classes between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022. WellWorks will keep track of your visits to the Fitness Center and Group Exercise Classes (limit one visit per day). Attendance at Live Virtual Classes will count toward visit counts this year, too!
- Eligible members who successfully reach 100 logged visits during the above period will be contacted by WellWorks and will receive a free one-year membership (paid for by OHIO Human Resources as a taxable benefit).
No registration is required to participate in the 100 Day Challenge. However, eligible members are responsible for ensuring that their WellWorks member account correctly identifies their employee/spouse/partner status.
Additional details about the 100 Day Challenge are available online or by emailing wellworks@ohio.edu.
Virtual WellWorks memberships also available
Employees who do not wish to participate in the 100 Day Challenge are invited to explore the WellWorks Virtual Membership option, instead. Ohio University employees will continue to receive the 30 percent discount on this wellbeing offering through calendar year 2021.
Not a WellWorks member?
Facility memberships can be purchased online through the WellWorks Member Portal. Employees can use their OHIO Single Sign-On to log in and select “Ohio University Employee.”
