2022 Black Alumni Reunion to be held Sept. 15-18

The Ohio University Alumni Association is pleased to announce that the 2022 Black Alumni Reunion will be held Sept. 15-18, 2022, in Athens, Ohio.

The Black Alumni Reunion (BAR) welcomes home the University’s black alumni every three years to Ohio University’s Athens campus, OHIO’s largest alumni reunion outside of Homecoming.

The weekend, which is open to all alumni and friends, will feature a variety of formal and casual events. These will include networking and learning opportunities as well as entertainment, sports, and festive activities.

The OHIO Alumni Association consulted with both the alumni community and campus partners in selecting the date for the 2022 reunion. There will be no football game in Athens during the weekend. The football team is scheduled to be on the road, playing at Iowa State on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022.
