Nominations sought for 2021-22 Presidential Teacher Award and Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Ohio University is seeking nominations for the 2021-22 Presidential Teacher Award and Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.  

The Presidential Teaching Award is open to full-time, tenure-track faculty from any of Ohio University’s campuses. Information about the award including the nomination form is available at the Presidential Teacher Award website

The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching Award is open to full-time, instructional, non-tenure track faculty from any of Ohio University’s campuses. Information about the award including the nomination form is available at this website.

For both awards, recipient selection is based on excellence in teaching and meritorious academic pursuits both inside and outside the classroom, as acknowledged by peers and students. This includes teaching practices and innovations, influences on curriculum, student mentoring, colleague mentoring, and scholarship with respect to teaching.

Nominations are due by Friday, Oct. 1, 2021.
