Scripps College to host virtual info session for online grad certificates

The Scripps College of Communication will host a virtual information session on Thursday, Dec. 2, from noon to 1 p.m. focused on the college’s suite of online graduate certificates.

Dr. Paula Linscott will present details about the college’s flexible and affordable communication-related programs, designed for working professionals looking to enhance their skills.

The programs include flexible master’s options and graduate certificates in strategic communication management, crisis communication, digital media transformation and innovation, interacting with the media for non-journalists, and interacting with the media for STEM professionals.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Students who complete an application before Feb. 1 can start classes as early as Feb. 28. No letters of recommendation or GRE are required for admission to the graduate programs.

Linscott will cover questions about employee educational benefits, alumni scholarships, the application process, and timeline to completion.
