LET’S TALK ABOUT FOOD INSECURITY
Food insecurity has the potential to harm college students’ ability to achieve their educational and professional goals. OHIO can help.

1. Need help paying for groceries? You may be eligible for food assistance through SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). SNAP helps students stretch their food budgets and buy healthy food.

2. The Cats’ Cupboard food pantry, located in Baker, provides students access to fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable food options to help with hunger.

Celebrating 25 years
It’s no coincidence that OHIO’s hub for on-campus student activity is named the Charles J. Ping Student Recreation Center—a tribute to a visionary leader and the students, past, present, and future, for and because of whom it exists.

The Ping Center opened in January 1996, ushering in a new beginning for student recreation and wellness. Read about the history of Ping >

SHOP BOBCAT GEAR
Nothing says "happy holidays" like a cozy OHIO sweatshirt, thermos, or any number of gifts available at the Bobcat Depot and The Bobcat Store. Both shops support the past, present, and future OHIO family. Hit the Bobcat Depot in person while on campus, and use The Bobcat Store if you need something shipped to you.

OIT Tech Tips

Stay safe while on the job hunt
Be wary of job “opportunities” you receive in emails. Often, a scammer will send you a check and then later request you to wire a portion of the check back to them. The checks are typically bad to begin with, resulting in you paying the scammer the amount you transfer, directly from your account.

Remember to report any potential email attacks to security@ohio.edu.
