Last call for student Leadership Awards applications

Applications are now being accepted for the student Leadership Awards – an annual program now in its 39^th year. Undergraduates, graduate students, and student organizations across all OHIO campuses are eligible to apply. Applications close on Feb. 1, 2022.

Students should visit the event website for a full listing of the awards, scholarships and application criteria, and are welcome to apply to as many awards as they feel they qualify for through the single application form. Prospective applicants should familiarize themselves with the question prompts – listed on each award webpage – before sitting down to apply.

The program is a longstanding tradition for Ohio University’s Division of Student Affairs (DOSA) and has partnered in recent years with the Division of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) to highlight a broad diversity of award categories that represent the impact of student leadership across many interest areas.

Following the application deadline, selection committees led by DOSA and D&I staff, graduate student staff, and alumni, will choose the recipients of the awards, and honorees will be notified in early March. The event is scheduled for April 20 and is anticipated to take a hybrid remote/in-person format.
