Academic coaching available to students through the Academic Achievement Center

Are you procrastinating, falling behind, or feeling unmotivated? If so, an academic coach can help you.

Students can sign up today for academic coaching with OHIO’s Academic Achievement Center (AAC). The AAC’s highly skilled coaches can provide one-on-one, personalized help in the following areas: 

  • Procrastination/time management
  • Becoming motivated to attend class/complete assignments
  • Writing a study schedule (and adhering to it)
  • Exam prep and test anxiety
  • Focusing and concentrating
  • Taking effective notes
  • Getting organized
  • Retention and reading comprehension 
  • Setting goals 
  • Communicating with professors 
  • And many more.

Coaches are available to meet with OHIO students via Teams from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Fridays, and from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Students can request a coaching session by completing the AAC Online Tutor Request form, emailing a request to aac@ohio.edu, calling the AAC at 740-593-2644, or by stopping by the AAC, located on the second floor of Alden Library, in Alden 230.
