OHIO provides update on search for next vice president for student affairs, vice president for finance and administration
Ohio University President Hugh Sherman has announced that the search for OHIO’s next vice president for student affairs and vice president for finance and administration will remain open as we continue to search for strong leadership for these critical roles.
“It is important to find the right leaders during this pivotal time of transition,” President Sherman said. “I am optimistic that we will recruit top candidates for both of these vital functions of University leadership.”
Sherman expressed his gratitude to the search committees who have continued assistance with these searches. He also applauded the work of Terry Hogan, who will continue to serve as interim vice president for student affairs, and Joe Trubacz, who will continue to serve as interim vice president for finance and administration, until leadership transition plans are announced in the coming months.
“Both Terry and Joe have provided strong leadership through this transition period,” President Sherman said. “I appreciate the progress each has made in his respective role to move OHIO forward.”
