Keeping Bobcats Informed, Aug. 24, 2022

Bobcat Parents & Families,

Move-in weekend – albeit the hot weather – was a huge success! We had a record-breaking number of students move into the residence halls in a matter of days, and nearly just as many moved into off-campus housing. It's wonderful to see so many students around campus and the town of Athens again.

We were glad the rain held off—it was a great reminder that we don’t always know what is coming next, but it helps to be prepared. We can do our best to prepare, sure, but innovation rarely occurs in a predictable environment. The unexpected holds great challenges but also great opportunities. In Student Affairs, we are excited about the future and whatever it holds.

With Hope,

Kathy A Fahl, MSW

Dean of Students
