WellWorks to offer Reiki beginning in fall semester

WellWorks will begin offering Reiki through private appointments with Louise Cruz, Reiki master, beginning Fall 2022.

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that has proven to relieve stress and improve overall wellbeing. Reiki works with a person's energy field to release energy blocks that have built up over time due to stress or illness. 

More than 20 percent of medical facilities in the Unites States, including the Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, use Reiki as a healing modality.

Appointments will be available in-person and virtually via Teams (or Zoom, if requested). Additional details about scheduling an appointment is available at this WellWorks website.

Reiki information sessions will be held on:

• Monday, August 15 at 12:00 p.m., virtual via Teams.
• Thursday, August 18 at 4:00 p.m., Grover Center E124 (WellWorks conference room)
