Open forums announced for Patton College of Education dean search finalists

Ohio University Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. Elizabeth Sayrs announces five finalists for the position of dean of the Patton College of Education with interviews on Oct. 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17.

As part of the interview process, the University community will have an opportunity to interact with the candidates during open forums. Candidates will deliver a brief presentation and answer questions from students, faculty, and staff.

The open forums will take place on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, Oct. 10, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Walter Hall 135 - Dr. Mark Meyers
  • Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Walter Hall 235 - Dr. Andrew Arroyo
  • Thursday, Oct. 13, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Baker Theater - Dr. Sara Helfrich
  • Friday, Oct. 14, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Walter Hall 235 - Dr. Roland Sintos Coloma
  • Monday, Oct. 17, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Walter Hall 135 - Dr. Lawrence Baines

Each of the forums will be livestreamed through Teams, and the links for each session will be announced on the morning of each forum. A link to the online feedback form for each forum also will be provided.
