Fall Commencement parking and transportation information
Ohio University’s Fall Commencement will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Convocation Center on the Athens campus.

Campus parking accommodations for Fall Commencement
Disability parking and disability drop off: Disability parking spaces will be available in Convocation Center lots 127 and 128. Signs will be posted and event attendants will be able to direct drivers to the disability parking areas. This website shows a map of OHIO parking lots for Fall Commencement.
In addition, a designated area will be set up for dropping off and picking up guests with limited mobility at the Convocation Center for Commencement. This area will be accessible from West Green Drive.
Guest Parking: Visitors may utilize parking within any dark green or purple lot on campus from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. Please reference the campus parking map for lot locations and designations.
Transportation and Parking Services will work in conjunction with the Ohio University Police Department to manage traffic and parking for Commencement. Guests should pay close attention to highway and campus signage directing them to the closest available parking lot for their needs.
RV Parking: A limited number of RV spaces will be available for reservation located at the Ridges during commencement weekend. To submit a reservation request, visit https://www.ohio.edu/transportation-parking/transit-services/rv-reservations.
Campus transportation resources and information for Fall Commencement
Free event shuttles will be available from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. The route maps can be seen on this webpage. Visitors are encouraged to ask the parking lot attendants for information on the closest transit stop to their parking location.
Free accessible transportation will be available from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. for those with limited mobility who do not park within the Convocation Center parking lot. Individuals seeking limited mobility transportation on the day of events should call Transportation and Parking Services at 740-447-8037 to schedule a ride.
