Ohio University celebrates Black History Month by encouraging donations to support diversity and inclusion

As the country celebrates Black History Month, Ohio University is calling upon its community to join them in honoring the important contributions of the Black community throughout American history and in society today. The University is inviting everyone to act by donating to any of the 12 funds that support Diversity and Inclusion.

By contributing to these selected funds, donors will make a meaningful impact on student and campus life at OHIO. These donations go beyond just providing financial support – they help provide students with hands-on experiences that shape them into community leaders, creative thinkers, and people who change the world.

“We believe that diversity and inclusion are essential components of higher education,” said Nico Karagosian, vice president, university advancement at Ohio University and president and CEO of The Ohio University Foundation. “By supporting these funds, we can continue our efforts to create an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.”

The 12 funds highlighted for this project that support Diversity and Inclusion include:

Donors can choose which fund(s) they would like their contribution to support. Every gift counts, no matter how big or small.
