OHIO community invited to Inclusive Excellence Workshop and Lecture Series

The Division of Diversity and Inclusion and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost are co-sponsoring the 2023-24 Inclusive Excellence Workshop and Lecture Series for the Ohio University community.

The series, currently in its second year, is designed to support OHIO's commitment to building an intentional culture of inclusion, creating an enriching academic experience that expands civic engagement and cultural competency, and ensuring individual success and retention needs of an increasingly diverse community.

"We are excited to have our faculty and staff share ideas, passion, experiences, and research that help strengthen our community's commitment to Inclusive Excellence," said Interim Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Russell Morrow.

The Division of Diversity and Inclusion and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost plan to offer at least eight events in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 as part of series. Three upcoming workshops had already been announced. More will be announced throughout the year.

"We are currently planning a variety of workshops and lectures for this academic year. Each workshop or lecture will be offered by a member of the Ohio University community and will focus on a unique, important topic. We encourage people to register, attend, and participate,” said Vice Provost for Faculty Development Katie Hartman.

Please visit the Inclusive Excellence Workshop and Lecture Series for descriptions, additional details, and updates. Participants may register for workshops and lectures online at https://www.ohio.edu/diversity/workshop-series.
