Experiential Learning Funding applications open for students, faculty, staff

Experiential Learning Awards are available to individual undergraduate students on Ohio University’s Athens and regional campuses to support participation in creative activity, community engagement, internships, leadership experiences, research, and study away programs.

Students can apply for up to $1,000.

Faculty and staff can apply for up to $5,000 to support new and expanded experiential learning opportunities.

“We want students to directly experience what they are learning so that they have better stories to tell—to future employers, to scholarship committees, to graduate schools, and to family members who might wonder if a college education is worth its price tag,” said Lindsey Rudibaugh, executive director of experiential learning at Ohio University.

Students, faculty, and staff can apply for the Experiential Learning Awards until the deadline of March 15. This funding cycle is to support opportunities taking place between May 1, 2024, and May 1, 2025.
