Dr. Lyn Redington named interim Vice President of Advancement and President and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation

Ohio University President Lori Stewart Gonzalez has named Dr. Lyn Redington, the current Vice President of Student Affairs, as the interim vice president of advancement and president and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation effective February 20, 2024. Nico Karagosian will no longer serve in this role.

“I am grateful Dr. Redington has agreed to serve the University in this capacity,” President Gonzalez said. “Her distinguished career in higher education will serve the unit well as we begin a national search for a permanent leader of our advancement operation.”

Redington, who has been at OHIO since January 2023, will continue to serve as Vice President of Student Affairs during this transition.

“I want to thank Nico for his leadership during his time at OHIO,” President Gonzalez said. “He led the Advancement team as they engaged with donors and alumni to provide support for the University’s mission. We wish him success in his future endeavors."

The University will begin a national search for its next permanent vice president of advancement and president and CEO of the Ohio University Foundation in the coming weeks.
