Midwestern Cognitive Science Conference 2024 to be held at OHIO
The Midwestern Cognitive Science Conference (MCSC 2024) will be held on the Athens campus at Ohio University, May 9-11. This marks the first time this intellectually stimulating event to celebrate the interdisciplinary nature of cognitive science has been hosted at OHIO.
Sponsored by the Psychology Department and the College of Arts & Sciences, MCSC 2024 will take place at Baker Center and will showcase exciting new developments in cognitive research from a diverse range of perspectives, including psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, anthropology, education, and computer science.
Students and faculty are welcome to share research on any cognitive science topic by submitting a talk, poster, or workshop. The deadline for submissions is April 1, and decisions will be made by April 11.
Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best student posters will be presented, and a select group of presenters will be invited to participate in a special journal issue focused on cognitive modeling. A limited number of conference fee waivers will be awarded to qualified first-author students who register early.
