OHIO Zanesville announces July career development workshops

Ohio University Zanesville is excited to announce a month-long series of career development workshops designed to empower individuals with the tools necessary for professional success. From crafting compelling cover letters to mastering the art of job and internship searches, these virtual workshops are tailored to guide attendees through every step of their career journeys. 

Led by Ohio University Zanesville Career Development Coordinator Summer Jacobs, each session promises to provide valuable insights and practical skills. These workshops are open to all students, as well as Ohio University graduates.

Upcoming Workshops:

1. Crafting a Cover Letter
   o    Date and Time: July 2, 2024 | 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. 
   o    Overview: Attendees will learn the basics of cover letter creation, including strategic customization and addressing employment gaps.
2. Tips and Tricks to Interviewing
   o    Date and Time: July 9, 2024 | 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. 
   o    Overview: This workshop will equip participants with strategies to excel in interviews and match their talents with employer needs.
3. Finding Jobs and Internships
   o    Date: July 16, 2024 | 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. 
   o    Overview: Learn to navigate the job market effectively using online platforms and networking.
4. Developing a Resume
   o    Date: July 30, 2024 | Time: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. 
   o    Overview: This session focuses on crafting a resume that highlights key achievements and utilizes effective formatting and content.
