Moving and Surplus implements new service ticket platform to better serve OHIO community
Ohio University Moving and Surplus now has a new service ticket platform in place to better serve its customers.
Moving and Surplus supports Ohio University through departmental moves, room conversions, table, chair, and stage rentals, freight delivery support, forklift operations, and the sale and disposal of University surplus.
Recently, Moving and Surplus introduced a new service request platform through SC Logic to support moving, rental, and surplus pickup requests.
The new service platform provides a streamlined request process, while it also allows users to add photos, diagrams, and file attachments as appropriate to support service requests.
In addition, customers will now receive documentation with assigned work order IDs following their request submissions for service ticket tracking.
The service platform also provides single sign-on (SSO) integration and provides the unit with improved analytics and reporting capabilities.
