OHIO Business Service Center honored by peers for its approach to shared services

The OHIO Business Service Center (BSC) was honored to receive second place in the Best Practices in Higher Education competition in September.

The BSC was honored for its “Relational Approach to Shared Services” by the Central Association of College and University Business Officers (CACUBO).

A trophy and award of $1,500 was presented to Ohio University representatives at the CAUBO annual conference in Indianapolis on Sept. 29, 2024.
In addition, staff members from the OHIO Business Service Center staff were featured speakers for the event.

“I greatly appreciate this recognition from the higher education business officer community as well as the award sponsor, Baker Tilly,” stated Heather Krugman, executive director of the OHIO Business Service Center.  “We know there are so many things that make Ohio University special, including how we work with and value each other.  I believe these principles were apparent both in the presentation and the subsequent audience feedback.“
