OHIO community invited to Story Builder Fair on Nov. 7
An Ohio University education reaches far beyond traditional classroom walls.
From local waterways to the halls of Congress and international consulting trips, OHIO sets out to connect every student with a unique set of experiences that transform them and help prepare them for their next steps.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to learn more about these incredible educational opportunities at the Story Building Fair. This special event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 12-4 p.m. on the third floor of Alden Library in the CoLab and the Friends of the Library Room.
Story Builders are built into the OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan to encourage students to participate in diverse OHIO experiences so they have their own unique story to tell.
Student graduation plans include Milestones and Story Builders as goal posts along the path to graduation. Milestones help students make consistent academic progress and develop career readiness skills.
Story Builders encourage students to explore their OHIO campus, their communities, career industries, and global communities before choosing which experiences they want to dive more deeply into as they build their Bobcat stories.
This fair is an opportunity for faculty and staff to showcase their unique experiences while providing students an outlet to explore multiple opportunities in one space.
This event is open to all Ohio University students, no registration necessary.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to register by Oct. 11 to table at the event to showcase opportunities.
