OUPD to offer active aggressor training sessions in March, April

As part of the Ohio University Police Department’s commitment to public safety education, the department is hosting several active aggressor training sessions during the spring semester.

Free to all OHIO students, faculty and staff, the training sessions are provided each semester to encourage and promote discussion about active aggressor situations. The training sessions also help participants learn how to be more prepared should an incident occur.

The Spring 2025 training will be presented by the Ohio University Police Department (OUPD) in Baker University Center from noon until 1 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Thursday, March 20 – Room 229
  • Tuesday, April 1 – Room 230
  • Wednesday, April 9 – Room 230
  • Monday, April 14 – Room 230

Participants need to only attend one session. No registration is necessary. For more information, contact OUPD Community Relations Officer Evan Wilkof at wilkof@ohio.edu.
