OHIO Hockey to host free Green vs. White Game Sept. 20

The OHIO Hockey team will be hosting a free Green and White game at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.

The game will be free for all fans and will not require any ticket to attend. Fans can come out and get a free look at the 2025-26 OHIO Hockey team. The game will feature a skills competition at 5 p.m. and a 3v3 tournament at 5:45 p.m.

The team will also be hosting a free “Skate with the ‘Cats” event at 6:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to stay after, skate and have a chance to meet the players and coaching staff of the OHIO Hockey team. Skate rentals are available.

“We can’t wait to get our fans excited for the 2025-26 season,” stated Head Coach Barry Schutte. “We welcome everyone to experience being on the ice at Bird Arena themselves during this event too.”

The first OHIO Hockey home game is scheduled for Sept. 26.
