OHIO faculty invited to participate in upcoming faculty development programs
Ohio University faculty members are invited to participate in three faculty development programs during the spring semester.
The programs support OHIO faculty in their roles as engaged teachers, scholars, researchers, creative artists and service providers. The faculty development programs are offered through the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.

Serendipity: Mid-Career Faculty Workshop Series
Serendipity is a one-semester, cohort-based faculty development workshop series designed to support associate-level faculty in navigating the mid-career stage with clarity and intention. Through structured workshops that blend brief lectures, guided discussion, and actionable exercises, participants will explore common mid-career challenges and opportunities for growth, leadership, and renewal.

Thriving in the Academy Workshop Series
The Thriving in the Academy workshop series provides learning opportunities and skill development for faculty new to OHIO or who have been in their present position for five years or less. The goal of the workshop series is to assist faculty success during their early career. Topics include research productivity, healthy relationships, time management, and maintaining a proper work-life balance.

Mentor Leaders: Learning Together Faculty Learning Community
The Mentor Leaders: Learning Together Faculty Learning Community (ML-FLC) is a cohort-based, faculty-led learning community designed to provide training and support for OHIO faculty who intend to serve as faculty mentors to other faculty.
