University community invited to meet new Ohio Football Head Coach John Hauser on Friday, Jan. 9

The Ohio University community is invited to attend a reception to welcome and meet new Ohio Football Head Coach John Hauser immediately following his introductory press conference.

The community reception is anticipated to kick off on Friday, January 9 at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the Perry and Sandy Sook Center (Room 107) on OHIO’s Athens Campus.

Hauser, whose appointment was announced by Director of Athletics Slade Larscheid following Ohio football’s 17-10 victory over UNLV in the 2025 Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl, marks the program’s 31^st head coach.
