THRIVE Thursdays to promote well-being throughout February

Readjusting after break and staying engaged during the winter season can be challenging.

Sometimes homework and class schedules feel like they need to take priority over well-being. To remind students of ways to feel supported, THRIVE Thursdays are happening throughout the month of February at Ohio University.

THRIVE Thursdays are a chance to explore well-being and basic needs resources and tune into what helps students thrive this semester.

Supporting OHIO students

Following THRIVE Thursdays in February, the Meal Bank meal swipe drive will take place March 1-6. The Meal Bank program is a way for students to share meals from a campus meal plan with fellow students experiencing food insecurity.

Donations are always accepted for the student food pantry, Cats’ Cupboard. There is a donation box on the second floor of Baker University Center. For those not on campus still looking to support the food pantry, items can be purchased off of the Cats’ Cupboard Amazon wish list.

THRIVE is more than a series of events — it’s a year-round commitment to supporting Bobcats in every aspect of their well-being.

Built on the pillars of CARE and CONNECT, the initiative ensures students have access to essentials like food, housing and emergency support while also encouraging them to get involved, build relationships and find community on campus.
