OHIO to host Healthcare Career Fair April 7
Ohio University will host a Healthcare Career Fair on Tuesday, April 7.
The Healthcare Career Fair, which is set to take place at the Walter Hall Rotunda and Grover lobby from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., will provide students and alumni with the opportunity to network with employers in the healthcare industry.
Employers from across the country will attend the fair to recruit Ohio University students and alumni. Bobcats attending the event will be able to connect with recruiters, explore internships and full-time positions, and practice their networking skills.
“The Healthcare Career Fair has been an event our health science and pre-professional students have been looking forward to for quite some time,” said Nancy Edwards-Grady, career coach in the College of Health Sciences and Professions. “Many of the students I meet with are eager to find internships, clinicals, practicums and shadowing opportunities that help them build experience for graduate school, professional programs and job applications. This fair gives students the chance to connect directly with employers and explore hands-on opportunities, while also allowing employers to meet the talented students coming out of our reputable health science programs.”
Students are encouraged to wear business professional attire. Students in need of business attire are invited to visit the Career Closet in Career Services at Baker University Center 507 for free business clothing Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Registration for this event is not required, but encouraged. Students, faculty, and staff can learn more about the event on Handshake.
