Memorial service for Marjorie Hagerman to be held in August

The Ohio University community is invited to a memorial service for Marjorie Hagerman on Sunday, Aug. 16 in Athens.

The service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Athens. The memorial will be held as part of a church service that will begin at 9 a.m. A reception will follow at 10 a.m.

Hagerman passed away in October 2025. She and her husband, Fredrick Fritz Hagerman, were longtime Ohio University employees and were very active in the University community.
