Forbes ranks OHIO Online Bachelor of Science in Project Management among best in the nation, No. 1 for transfer students

Ohio University’s Online Bachelor of Science in Project Management was ranked among the best online project management programs in the nation by Forbes, emphasizing OHIO’s commitment to offering affordable, accessible options for anyone looking to further their education from the comfort of their own home. Forbes highlighted the transfer-friendly nature and affordable tuition of the program in their article. 

The OHIO online bachelor’s degree in project management was named Forbes’ best program for transfer students. The online project management program gives students with any associate degree the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science degree while continuing to work or care for their families. This flexible, online format allows students to pace their classes to fit their lives and career. 

As Forbes notes, “this degree completion program welcomes students with at least 60 transfer credits and takes just two years to complete, making it the shortest program on our list.”

Ohio University’s Online Bachelor of Science in Project Management was also listed as the lowest-priced program in terms of program tuition by Forbes. This latest accolade from Forbes is a testament to OHIO’s is commitment to lifelong student success through programs like the Guarantee+, which offers fixed tuition and fees, a graduation plan and lifelong benefits to students.

Forbes says their ranking methodologies use data from the National Center for Education Statistics, education providers and reputable educational and professional organizations. An advisory board of educators and other subject matter experts also review and verify their content to ensure the information is trustworthy and up-to-date. 

The project management curriculum is focused on designing, controlling and managing the technical process and transformation methods of an organization, while continuously improving the organization’s operations to be the most efficient and effective in meeting customer requirements. In addition to the bachelor’s degree in project management, graduates of this program also earn a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma (a data-driven project management methodology) and a minor in business.

“The Online Bachelor of Science in Project Management is especially well-positioned for transfer students because it combines workforce-aligned curriculum with the flexibility adult learners and community college graduates often need to continue their education while balancing work and life commitments,” Callahan said.
