Ohio University places policy up for community review

The Ohio University Executive Staff Policy Committee (ESPC) has placed a revised policy up for community review.

Policy moved to 30-day review period for community feedback

• 18.001: Faculty Credentials and Tested Experience - Ohio University is committed to assuring academic quality in its courses and curricula through the hiring and support of high-quality faculty and instructional personnel. This policy determines the minimum credentials or qualifications for all faculty and instructional personnel at Ohio University inclusive of all locations and delivery modes.

This policy will be up for community review until Aug. 19, 2026.

All members of the Ohio University community are invited to provide feedback on policies that are posted for review on the University Policy Management website. (OHIO login required.)

All policies on the University Policy Management website are posted for a 30-day comment period. Individuals wishing to offer feedback are asked to send their comments to policy@ohio.edu and include the name of the policy in the email subject line.
