Concourse support available as Aug. 21 deadline approaches

OHIO faculty are reminded that as the Aug. 21 deadline for completing your Public Course Syllabus approaches, the Office of Instructional Design (OID) is offering expanded support to help you prepare your Fall 2026 Undergraduate courses in Concourse.

Whether you need to learn the basics, have a quick question or want personalized assistance, OID has a support option designed to meet your needs.

Choose the support option that's right for you

Workshops

New to Concourse or looking for a guided walkthrough? The OID workshops provide structured instruction on using Concourse, completing required syllabus components and copying content between courses. The workshops include live demonstrations and opportunities to ask questions along the way.

To help faculty meet the Aug. 21 deadline, workshops will be offered every day during the week of August 17–21, making it easy to find a session that fits your schedule.

One-on-one consultations

Need personalized assistance? Schedule a consultation with one of OID’s instructional designers for questions that require a deeper dive.

Consultations are ideal for troubleshooting complex situations, discussing your specific course setup or receiving individualized guidance.

Drop-in hours

Have a quick question? Stop by the weekly drop-in hours every Tuesday from 12–1 p.m. Think of these as public office hours or an open lab—you can join, ask a question, get the help you need and be on your way. No appointment is necessary.

To provide additional support before the deadline, OID is also expanding its drop-in hours during the week of Aug. 17–21. Join the OID experts Monday through Friday from 12–1 p.m. for quick questions and assistance with your Concourse Syllabus.
