OHIO to host reception for Vice President Lyn Redington on Aug. 10

Ohio University will host a reception for Vice President of Student Affairs Lyn Redington on Monday, Aug. 10.

The reception will be held from 3-5 p.m. at 29 Park Place; all students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend.

Redington announced her planned departure earlier this year, effective August 17. 

Associate Vice President and Dean of Students Kathy Fahl will serve as interim vice president for student affairs. Fahl has served as dean of students since 2022 and brings decades of higher education experience to the position.

In addition, Scott Bye will serve as interim dean of students, and Dane Bennett will assume the role of interim assistant dean of students and director of community standards and student responsibility.
