Paint the Town Green 2026: Celebrate Homecoming across campus

The Ohio University Alumni Association invites residence halls, departments and offices across campus to take part in Paint the Town Green, an annual Homecoming tradition that brings the OHIO community together.

Whether you're decorating a residence hall, office or shared space, Paint the Town Green is your chance to celebrate Homecoming, show off your OHIO spirit and help paint campus green and white.

Competition categories

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in the following categories:

• Residence halls
• Departments and offices

How to participate

Complete this form by Friday, Sept. 25 to enter the competition.

Judging will take place in person on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Winners will be notified by email and featured in an OHIO Today article and on OHIO Alumni social media. 

Share your display

As you decorate your spaces, you are encouraged to share photos on social media, tag @OHIOAlumni and use the hashtag #OHIOHC2026 to spread Bobcat spirit and showcase your team’s creativity during Homecoming week.
